● Project Background:
Toxicological test is an experiment that detects various toxic end points through different routes and different periods of exposure to experimental animals. Through animal experiments and observations on animals, the toxicity and potential hazards of a chemical are clarified. Its purpose is to determine the level of harmless action, type of toxicity, target organs, dose-response relationship and provide important information for safety assessment or risk assessment. Toxicological examination plays an important role in ensuring the safety of food, health food, cosmetics, disinfectant products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and chemical products.
As a registered and inspection institution for cosmetics, PONY can provide testing services for microorganism, physical and chemical test, toxicological test and human safety and efficacy evaluation related to cosmetics registration and registration.
Pony Testing Group has large-scale animal laboratories in Beijing and Shanghai and received licenses for laboratory animals in June 2018 and March 2021 respectively. The whole facility covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters and consists of three parts, including SPF barrier animal facility, general animal facility and affiliated laboratory.
SPF barrier facilities are mainly used for feeding SPF rat and mice. General facilities are mainly used for ordinary monkeys, dogs, pigs, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs. Affiliated laboratories include reagent laboratory, physiological and biochemical test laboratory, pathology laboratory, Ames laboratory, cell laboratory and archive room, equipped with automatic biochemical analyzer, blood cell counter, hemagglutination analyzer, urine analyzer, blood sugar analyzer, enzyme marker, biological safety cabinet, automatic dehydrator, automatic dyer, embedding machine and slicer.
Laboratory technicians in both Beijing and Shanghai have accreditation certificates for laboratory animals. At the same time, the Group has a special quality department and establishes a safety evaluation and research system which conforms to international standards. The company's test facilities, test execution, instruments and test personnel meet the requirements of GLP.
